I recently found an intriguing title on eMarketer.com, entitled For B2C Marketers, Social Media Tops Content Marketing Efforts. I am of the mind that the two – social media marketing and content marketing – go hand in hand. Or, at least, that they should. They’re more and more intrinsically related -now, even more than ever. Nevertheless, I read through the entire piece and re-realized that marketing objectives and, implicitly, tactics differ from business/ organization to business/ organization. Marketing budgets are allocated throughout various advertising channels and that is really more than OK. But the percentages also matter. Have a read and tell me what you think.
